JoWooD had more than a dozen new titles on display this year including a playable version of the long awaited Aquanox 2: Revelation. Their new line-up spans multiple genres and systems so there was something for everyone at their booth.

Against Rome is the latest RTS game to deal with the Roman Empire, only this unique approach has you starting out as leader of a barbarian tribe. As you increase through the ranks and lead your village to successive victories you will lead your tribe across Easter Europe, raiding settlements for food, weapons, or gold. As your tribe grows and you master the art of organized combat you can confront and attempt to overthrow the invincible Roman Empire.

Aquanox 2: Revelation (PC/PS2/Xbox)
Take all the action of your favorite space combat shooter like Wing Commander and put it underwater and you have Aquanox. This is the exciting sequel to the first underwater action-adventure and is shaping up to be one of the most exciting games of the year on PC and consoles.

Players become a member of an 8-man team of mercenaries as they make their way across the oceans in search of a legendary treasure and any loot they can scavage along the way. The new KRASS graphics engine creates some of the most stunning underwater visuals ever seen in a game to date and the gripping story and intense combat action will captivate gamers for countless hours.

SpellForce is a unique blend of RTS and RPG gaming that will take the genre to areas unexplored by any other game. With a multitude of elemental magic, 6 races and more than 30 unique enemy races SpellForce will offer gamers the ultimate adventure full of magic and wonder.

The innovative Avatar-System lets you create your own customizable alter-ego then improve their stats as you progress through a massive and persistent game world that follows an epic storyline, but also includes dozens of side-quests. The adventure begins this October.
