Kemco was showing Lobo in video only, but things were looking good for this third person action title. It will be interesting to see how the game bases on a DC Comics license comes fully together when it’s released for next gen consoles next year. Also looking sharp was Top Gear Rally, it’ll be rolling onto the GBA latter this year and may well become my favorite racing title on the platform dethroning my beloved Mario Kart.

I remember Bugs Bunny’s Crazy Castle way back on my 8-bit NES so seeing the fifth installment of the Crazy Castle series coming to my GBA staring Woody Woodpecker is a little thrilling. The really great part is that for the most part the game seems to have retained its odd mix of strategy and platform action. The game has you saving the Fairy World in an adventure that culminates in the Crazy Castle. I know a few people who will flip their lids when this sucker hits the stores.

Rogue Ops (Xbox/PS2/GameCube)
Rogue Ops puts the player in the combat suit of Nikki Conners, a secret government agent siced on Omega 19 a terrorist organization casting its specter across the globe. Nikki can be subtle on when the occasion calls for it but make no mistake; this chick is packing enough heat to take out Ahnuld back in the day before he became a stricken old man, tasers, frag grenades, mines and enough ammo to hold the Alamo. Supplement this with enough gadgetry to put Q to shame, grappling hooks, remote spy cams, thermal optical camo, the works.

From the brief time I spent with the game, I was pretty impressed, the whole stealth operative thing has been done to death the last few years, but this one feels pretty fresh. Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more coverage of this title as the year progresses.
