So who has seen the Watchmen and what did you think?
Personally I thought:
1. too long 2. too much neon schlong 3. intrusive sex scene - it was like the director remembered his movie was rated R halfway through and said - get naked and screw Cinemax style 4. and worst of all - every single second of action has already been shown in trailers and/or in clips with cast interviews on Leno, etc. NO SURPRISES LEFT!
On the other hand, the new XBLA (and PS Store) game is awesome. Highly recommend. They even have an MMO Watchmen game for the iPhone.
I will wait till it's out on Blu-ray and review it, I haven't been to a theater in like 7 years. My couch is comfy, my bathroom is cleaner and I have snacks, cappuccino's and a pause button in easy reach.
I agree... My home theater is infinitely better than the theater in every way but size, but in the case of Watchmen, the only good thing about the movie was the "crowd interaction". While not at the same level as Rocky Horror, we had a pretty verbal crowd that lightened things up, especially during the more awkward scenes.
