Buka Entertainment is a European publisher headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Buka’s foundation dates back to 1994, the very dawn of the Russian gaming industry.

In 1997, the first among the local publishers, Buka unlocked the door to the world markets and licensed its "Rage of Mages" and "Vangers" abroad. The success story was continued by the release of "Hard Truck" in 1999, which climbed up sales charts in 60 countries throughout the world. Since that time and up to the present Buka has released more than 100 games both home-grown and localized, including the purchased Heroes Series by 3DO, GTA Series by Take2, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 by Codemasters and made in Russia Fair Strike, Battle Mages and The Entente: World War I Battlefields.

Buka signed its titles with more than 56 Publishers scattered around the world. Among them, there are names like Encore, Capcom, Acclaim, Cenega, JoWooD, Ubi Soft, Activision, and a number of smaller, but reliable and good partners as well, leaders in their respective territories.
