Criterion Games Criterion Games is a leading developer of console videogames, fully focused on a mass market, world-wide audience across all major hardware platforms. With 60 staff located in its Guildford office, the company has a strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to establish new brands within a crowded market. This approach is typified by games such as "Burnout", published by Acclaim Entertainment, which is one of only a very small number of new franchises that have achieved AAA status since the launch of Playstation2. In Fall 2002 Criterion and Acclaim released the eagerly anticipated Playstation 2 follow-up to Burnout, "Burnout 2: Point of Impact". The company is also working on several original games for release in 2003 and 2004.
