Dora the Explore first flew on the screen in 1999 since then she has been capturing kid’s hearts. Dora and her friend Boots the Monkey have been traveling around to different places is search of missing items or animals for the past eight years. With the help of Backpack, Map, and all the young viewers at home Dora has rescued and recovered many items and animals. Dora the Explorer can also help encourage our children to learn Spanish by introducing them at a young age.
Now Dora the Explorer will explore a whole new world in the Nintendo DS game of Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Mermaids. We will travel to the depths of the ocean with Dora, so come on, Vamonos! Every body lets go!

Welcome to a game about learning. With Dora the Explorer: Dora Rescues the Mermaids you will be able to discover the world of mermaids and under-water life. You will also be able to meet many different characters along the way. You will also be able to spend lots of fun time on the beach with your animal friends. In this game Dora will become a mermaid. Dora will have to swim down to the Mermaid Kingdom to rescue her friends from the ruthless garbage-dumping Octopus! Dora will also have to complete the mission of returning Marianna the Mermaid’s crown back to her. But with the help of her friend Boots, Dora should have no problem.
This game offers many ways to play. You will be able to use almost every function of the Nintendo DS. You will be able to call for animals while under the sea and on the beach by speaking into the microphone. You will also be able to use the blowing function of the microphone while you are exploring with Dora. While playing the game Dora will be transformed magically into a mermaid. After Dora has become a mermaid you will be able to swim to the Mermaid Kingdom and rescue your friends from the mean garbage-dumping Octopus. You will also be able to encounter Swiper the fox along the way so watch out for your valuables.
You will also be able to explore the beach. While on the beach you will be able to help Dora by using the stylus to pick up the garbage off beach and putting it into a garbage bag. You will also need to count your way across Seashell Bridge with the help of you friend Boots. You will also be able to Conga dance on the Beach. Don’t worry you won’t be dancing alone. You will have the company of you friends the Piggies while dancing on Pirate Island. All in all, there are many adventures with in this game and I think many young children will find them fun and educational.

The graphics in Dora are the same graphics you will find within every episode of Dora the Explorer. They are simple cartoon graphics and fit perfectly with this kind of game. I don’t think many young fans would appreciate it if the graphics were changed at all. The television show itself is basically a game for young children and looks like it was pulled straight from a pc game. So you couldn’t really expect them to change the graphics. However, that does not cut from the fact that the graphics are mediocre.

I thought the sound in this game was great. It was pulled directly from the television series. This game also includes the voice actors from the actual television show. The songs are fun and will get stuck in your head. I think children will really enjoy them. Most children I know will be able to sing along with at least some of the Dora the Explorer theme song and will smile the entire time you sing it with them. I think the sound on this game is what you would expect from this type of game.

This game costs in stores today $29.99. I don’t think that’s asking too much. You can even find a special bundle that includes the new Go, Diego, Go! This game is all about learning and having fun at the same time and it accomplishes just that.
I think it would be a perfect way to keep kids occupied and having fun while learning. This game has been kid tested so we know that young children can play and will play this game. It has also been tested out by mothers so we know that they think it is safe for kids.

This game is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s a learning adventure geared towards young children. If you’re a parent looking for a game to entertain and teach you child something this is the game for you. There are not many games out there that incorporate learning and are still a super fun for kids to play. This game will put a good impression in your kids mind. It contains no violence and it’s very interactive. Your kids can learn to count and speak a little Spanish at the same time.
