![]() I really do not like compilation games or games that are not full versions but mini games that last under two minutes are really annoying. To actually pay money for a group of games that are bite sized anything or that act like demos of a free game is silly. To pay for games that have been out for years but restyled and remade for a new console is equally as silly and now I have to review one, yeah. Taito has made some great games in the past but why put them out again and again, work at making new ones instead. If there is a classic like Arkanoid you just have to rerelease then give it out free. Furu Furu Park seems so much like a compilation or group of games you could download for free or ones that you would get to see if you wanted to purchase the full game. Furu Furu Park includes 30 mini games of varying difficulty and length but all of them together do not add up to be much of a bargain. There are old time classics like the new take on Tetris, Arkanoid and Camel Maze but most are just silly games that last less than two minutes. Mostly the games here are mixed bag with kind of fun but way too short to totally a waste of time. The games are all short and will last from a few seconds due to bad controls to the two minute mark. None of the games have varying levels of difficulty but some like the meteor smashing Sonic Blastman 20XX are just a waste of time from the start. Controls are the worst of the problems with Furu Furu Park but an overall sense of why did they do this pervades the entire thirty game set. Most of the control schemes revolve around timing or getting a certain move down just right. Many of the games last a minute so but if you don’t get the first move down your through. Some of the games are simply a next level from the first so but you may not be interested in mastering the first game to proceed further. One that I found to be totally a waste of time and yet they still found a reason to have to include three variations called Puzzle. Puzzle is a typical example in this set of games where a round picture is split into various rings that you have to arrange correctly. You simply tilt the Wiimote to get the first ring to turn and align it with the rest of the background and work your way in. You have from 60 seconds down to complete these but there really is almost no value to the game and it is simply mind boggling why to include this in the set of games. You can play multiplayer control schemes for a few different ways to play these party games like dual play free battle where you play to beat the others score or a head to head called Love Challenge where you see your compatibility to the other player by how close your scores are, I didn’t make it up, it’s in the manual. The Panel Attack has all the games listed and you see who does the best at all the games available in either head to head split screen gaming or taking turns. The gameplay is really not the problem but the biggest difficulty here besides some control problems is that none of the games are that enjoyable or last long enough to matter. The graphics are fine with most of the games and have been done well enough and simple. There really is not much to the graphics and really older games like Camel Maze or Arkanoid have been jazzed up enough to make them playable and seem a bit newer. Other than this general decent graphics and nice non confusing backgrounds there is not much in the way of graphics. The sound does a decent job with not being irritating or distracting so you at least don’t want to quit the game from the annoying audio. There just is not much gameplay here to make listening to the game worth it. I could not think of a reason to keep this game much less buy it, I know it is not worth the cost of $20 and seems more like a collection of free games they should be giving away with a controller or some piece of hardware for the Wii. I really don’t see this game as being worth getting or playing so I will not bore you any longer. Compilation games are usually not worth the plastic they are made out of and mostly you will be hard pressed to find one worthy of purchasing. If you happen to run across Furu Furu Park for a ridiculously low price it may be worth it but mostly it isn’t.
