ArenaNet, Inc. ArenaNet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCsoft Corporation, was founded by key members of the creative teams that developed the hit games Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, as well as the Battle.net gaming network. ArenaNet will create a state-of-the-art, interactive game network and will design and publish premier multiplayer online games for a wide range of game players. We will distribute our games via a variety of convenient means, including normal retail outlets and Internet distribution. Upon purchase of the game, players will be able to use their account from any computer, anywhere in the world, simply by connecting to the ArenaNet servers. Single players or groups of up to several dozen friends can choose between battling it out in head-to-head competition, or they can choose to work together cooperatively. Additionally, players will be able to join worldwide tournaments, participate in ladder rankings with players from around the world, view other people's games as a spectator, and enjoy a number of other exciting network services. With the release of several expansion packs, our game worlds and players' gameplay experiences will evolve and be refreshed over the years.
