Starbreeze Studios Starbreeze is one of the very few Swedish games developers that has reached a position where the customer, the publisher, finances development of a major production in advance. This business model means that the company is subject of very low risk exposure. Any subsequent royalties means additional income. Starbreeze develops several large productions in parallel. The games are mainly within the action-game genre where the company has reached international success with the award-winning game "Enclave". Starbreeze consists of four development teams, but that number is believed to increase by one or two the upcoming years. One team normally consists of 15-20 persons. Organic growth, mergers and acquisitions is the model for acquiring growth.
